The second World Forum on "Statistics, Knowledge and Policy" was held

in Istanbul, Turkey on 27-30 June 2007 and focused on "Measuring and

Fostering the Progress of Societies". Attended by 1200 people from 130

countries, the Istanbul World Forum is a significant milestone in the

OECD Global Project on "Measuring the Progress of Societies".
